"Love Pokemon, love Magikarp. This game idea, though... it's average. Things I like about it: fun to level up and find all the patterns and events, the songs are catchy (albeit repetitive). The bonuses through Pokemon are also cool. But the time-based rewards and leveling system, plus how minimal the game really is overall, just make it all a dopamine-giving grinding game with what feels like very little meaning attached to it. Even when you do feel proud of your little floppy boi."
